Nothing...

is quite as sweet as the sound of someone laughing, who until recently, did not feel like laughing. It's a welcome sound: one in which those who are around, are desperate to hear again; one in which those who are around to hear, are grateful for when they hear the laugh.  It is the sound that brings a smile to those who are fortunate enough to hear the laugh.  It makes me smile now, just thinking about it.
